What happened to Busabala road repairs? A few months ago, Ian Kyeyune, Wakiso district LC5 chairman was thoroughly roughed up by residents of Busabala over the poor state of their road.
I thought that he had learnt a bitter lesson and work on the road would start soon. I was wrong. I visited the road last week and it has since become worse.
There are more potholes and it is almost impossible for cars to drive through. I am now wondering, when will this road be repaired? What is so difficult about removing these potholes that it has taken this long?
Busabala, where the road goes, has got so many old and new economic activities, including entertainment beaches and fish factories that are worth a better road. Somebody do something about this.

Leaders, mobilise farmers It has been raining moderately in many parts of the country.
However, it is very likely that even with these rains, some people will not be able to plant enough food, largely because of poor community mobilisation.
This is why I call upon farmers, local leaders in the villages to mobilise their people to plant food.
At this moment, cassava, potatoes, maize and groundnuts can be planted. Local leaders must help stop hunger by mobilising the population to grow food.
