INSPIRED by Yuda Mugalu’s second half strike, Bunamwaya strode to the Uganda Super League summit after edging Nalubaale at Nakivubo yesterday.

The fleet-footed striker headed home Mike Mutyaba’s perfectly weighted corner to guarantee the Wakiso side the lead in the 18-team race.

In Masaka, Muhammad Atibu and Hussein Kato scored in the 20 and 21st minute to give the hosts their ninth win.
Robert Amunike consoled the soldiers with a 48 minute strike.

In Mbale, there was drama as Kampala City Council Football Club (KCC) arrived ready to take on CRO yesterday in a Super League tie only to learn from their hosts that FUFA had postponed the game.

CRO boss Moses Bwayo said the League Committee had communicated to the clubs concerned but wondered why KCC decided to travel for the game.

+ However impressive URA FC were without Henry Kisekka in their previous outing against Maji, the league defending champions will feel relieved to have the 26-year-old back into the side against Kinyara.

Such have been Kisekka’s contributions this season that URA has not lost a game with the Cranes striker in the team’s fold.
