MTN, where does my airtime go?

EDITOR—I subscribe to MTN. Every time I load airtime, I find it missing, and when I try the *156*1# option to see whether it has been used, I find it has not been! One day I loaded sh5,000 and by the end of the weak I had used less than sh3,000.

Where did the rest go? I resorted to loading sh500 but to my utter horror, nothing has changed! On several occasions I have called 123 MTN customer care which never goes through because the number is always “busy”.

It only goes through past midnight! Every time I manage to get their customer care, the only thing they tell me is, “Sorry about that, we shall get back to you within 24 hours” which they never do.

When I cannot wait anymore and call again, it is the same old story!
When you insist, sometimes you are told it is the calls you made that always consume the airtime. How can I be charged for a call I have not made or a message I have not sent? I want to know where my airtime goes.
