SOFTWARE giant Microsoft has joined the mobile phone handset fray. The company recently introduced two new web-based mobile phones — Kin One and Kin Two.
The phones have been designed for those who live their lives on the web. Kin One is a petite, round device with a 2.1-inch screen, while Kin Two is a larger, palm-sized device with a 3.5-inch display.
Both phones have multi-touch displays, an accelerometer, video-recording capability, as well as hardware keyboards that slide out from underneath the screen.
Photos, messages and videos are more secure with these handsets, thanks to the Microsoft back-up system. Kin One has a five-megapixel camera, while Kin Two’s is eight-megapixel.
