DSTV, why should I continue paying for nothing?

EDITOR—I renewed my DSTV subscription and paid for the sh155,000 package. However, when I got home and could not access the programmes I rang the call centre and they made me change some numbers on the menu and the programmes came on.

I later on realise that not all the channels were back! I could only access MM4(104), 105,141(NTV), BOOM, NAGEO and BBC news. I thought I had been given a raw deal and instead put on a cheaper package.

I later carried the decorder to Garden City and I was told the system had been upgraded and my decorder also needed upgrading. After upgrading the decorder, to my dismay even the few channels that I was accessing were gone! I remained with MM4(104), 141(NTV), and NAGEO.

No Supersport or cartoons or even news! It is three weeks since I subscribed and my account has been suspended. I have two other friends experiencing the same problem and the excuse they were given was it was “a general problem” since they were upgrading. But many other homes are watching DSTV! Why should I continue paying when I have spent almost a month without service? DSTV, style up.
