<b>Court closes defilement case</b><br>RUKUNGIRI-The High Court last week dismissed defilement charges against Collins Abaho over lack of evidence. Prosecution told the court that Abaho, a resident of Nyarweru village in Kyatoko, on April 22, 2008 reportedly defiled an eight-year-old girl.

RUKUNGIRI-The High Court last week dismissed defilement charges against Collins Abaho over lack of evidence. Prosecution told the court that Abaho, a resident of Nyarweru village in Kyatoko, on April 22, 2008 reportedly defiled an eight-year-old girl. A medical form from Nyakibale Hospital, where the victim was taken for examination, was not considered.

UNRA to plant trees in Kabale
KABALE-The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has budgeted sh10m to plant fruit trees on the Kabale-Kisoro road in a bid to beautify and protect the environment. Meeting district leaders and the contractor at Karegyere Muko last week, Asaph Abeneitwe, the UNRA district manager, said the move will also help protect road reserves.
