The two sides settled for a 1-all full time draw.
Hoima now joins newly promoted Entebbe Young and Boyz FC from the Northern region and will be playing along side home side Hoima FC who have just been relegated to the same league after a poor show in the top flight.
Only 8 of the expected 15 teams took part and tournament official Hassan Basiisa said it was a successful one.
In another development, Richard Makumbi’s Bull FC and Busia’s Rock tigers stormed the final of the Eastern region Super mini league which is on today at Malaba play ground.
A lone goal from William Odama against Bugembe in the 7th minute propelled Bull into the final.
In the second semi, CRO junior took the lead from Solomon Muganzi in the 50th minute but goals from Juma Higenyi and Franco Bwire in the 62 and 72 minutes sent them packing.
