Court heard that on August 2, Sgt. Frank Kyambadde of the 307 Brigade allegedly hit one Henry Byaruhanga with a brick and he died instantly.
Grade I magistrate, George Nfitudinda, remanded Kyambadde until August 18.
Neighbours said Kyambadde spent the fateful day drinking with an unidentified woman at a bar. When Byaruhanga went to the bar at about midnight, he asked the woman to join him.
Kyambadde resisted this and the two exchanged blows. The late Byaruhanga hailed from Buzaniro cell in Kihiihi.
