Mbarara University gets new deputy vice

Associate Prof. Pamela Mbabazi, the dean of the Faculty of Development Studies for Mbarara University of Science and Technology, has been appointed the university’s deputy vice-chancellor.

Associate Prof. Pamela Mbabazi, the dean of the Faculty of Development Studies for Mbarara University of Science and Technology, has been appointed the university’s deputy vice-chancellor.

The August 2 appointment letter, signed by the university chancellor, Prof. Peter Mugyenyi, congratulated Mbabazi upon her accomplishment.

She has played a vital role in the establishment and development of the faculty.

“I am deeply humbled and pray that God can use me to make a positive contribution to further the growth of our university. I am grateful to the university council and senate for entrusting me with this great position,” she said.
