CAPITAL FM/Beat FM’s programmes director, Joel Isabirye spent the whole of last Saturday night searching for his fiancée, Sharon Nagadya, in the company of the Police. Nagadya, Isabirye’s colleague at Capital, recently kwanjulad (introduced) Isabirye to her parents in Zirobwe, Luwero, in a colourful function.
The two were planning to get married next year. As the story goes, Isabirye came back home Saturday night only to find most of his household property, his fiancée as well as children gone.
He immediately contacted Police and reported the matter as theft on file number SD13/21/08/2010, before storming out with a couple of policemen to search for his woman.
Isabirye wanted her arrested for theft but the search proved futile. Nagadya was apparently not found in all the spots he expected her to be.
With these developments, we are not sure whether their nuptials arrangement still stand but we hear Nagadya’s relatives are trying to arbitrate. Isabirye divorced his first wife, Grace Naisamura, four years ago.
