Bobby Williamson
Since taking over as Cranes coach in 2008, Bobby Williamson has fast-established himself as a hero in the circles of Ugandan football.

Apart from being the only foreign coach to have won back-to-back CECAFA Challenge Cup titles with the Cranes in the history of Ugandan football, he steered this success-starved country to its first major finals –the 2011 local players’ Nations Cup tournament due in Sudan.

Williamson was also the architect behind ending Uganda’s winless run on the road since 2000 in the 2-0 friendly win over Sudan last year.

In fact, the 2-1 friendly match defeat to Ghana in Tamale and the 2-1 loss to Kenya in the second leg of the CHAN qualifiers in Nairobi are the only defeats Williamson has suffered in the 20 matches he’s been in charge.

Herve Rehard
Against his Angola counterpart Herve Rehard, Williamson will have to choose the right tactics, select the right players, get the best performance out of them and make the necessary tactical adjustments to guarantee victory on Saturday.

The 41-year-old Rehard assumed Angola’s coaching seat after leading Zambia into their first Nations Cup quarter-finals in 14 years.
