I have more than 5 credits in my S.4 and 5 Os in my S6. If I get a short course certificate, say in ICT, can I register for a diploma in any institution?

ANSWERAccording to Ann Mugerwa, the acting academic registrar at Kyambogo University, a certificate qualifies you for admission to a diploma course so long as it is in a related field.
However, the certificate should also be done at an institution accredited by the National Council for Higher Education.
QMy daughter scored BEBC in history, economics, literature, and entrepreneurship respectively. At O level, she got two distinctions, seven credits and a pass.
Besides Law, what other professional courses can she be given on private sponsorship at Makerere University?
