EDWIN Ekiring, keen to win his maiden Commonwealth Games medal, has embarked on a training programme with the Dutch national team.
The Olympian and All Africa Games bronze medallist, who will be part of Uganda’s badminton team to the Club Games due in New Delhi next month, is getting instructions from the Dutch badminton technical committee officials.
The badminton team will also have Wilson Tukire, Abraham Wogute and Brian Ssuna in the men’s category and their colleagues Margaret Nankabirwa, Gloria Najjuka, Shamim Bangi and Daisy Nakalyango are in the women’s category.
