<b>World Vision to rebuild dormitory</b><br>World Vision is to re-build the boys’ dormitory of St. Edwards’ Secondary School Bukumi that was gutted by fire early this year. World Vision Kibaale coordinator Kenneth Mbabazi said they are committed to promoting education.

World Vision is to re-build the boys’ dormitory of St. Edwards’ Secondary School Bukumi that was gutted by fire early this year. World Vision Kibaale coordinator Kenneth Mbabazi said they are committed to promoting education. The organisation will contribute sh30m of the sh42m needed for the reconstruction. The remaining balance shall be met by the school administration. Brother Deodat Aganyira, the head master, thanked the Bugangaizi county MP Marble Bakeine for lobbying for the donation.

30 hearbalists get training
A total of 30 herbalists in Kasese district have completed a two-day training in herbal medicine processing and the treatment of selected infections. The training was carried out at African Ark Infant Preparatory School in Nyamwamba division in Kasese municipality on Saturday and Sunday. It was was organised by Kikumu Agriculture Research Centre, a Kasese-based organisation, which operates both in Kasese and North Kivu province in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
