TRADITIONAL schools in the central region have kicked off patriotism drives as had been asked recently by the President.

They included King’s College Budo, Budo Junior School, Trinity College Nabbingo, Namilyango College School, Masaka Secondary School and Ndejje Secondary School.

Patriotism also picked momentum in some private schools like St. Lawrence Schools and Buddo Secondary School. Speaking at the launch at King’s College Budo on Saturday, the director of the patriotism club secretariat in the President’s office, Lt. Col. Henry Matsiko, stressed that a true patriot must put Uganda first, then advocate for East African integration.
