JMC humble Njeru’s Arsenal as Big League kicks off

DENNIS Munambi was the hero of the day as he helped his side JMC Hippos register a vital away big league win in the second edition of this year’s big league opening match against Jinja local rivals Arsenal at Njeru play ground.
The all important goal came in the 56th minute when Johnson Wakalaita played in a neat pass for Mnambi to find the net.
In the other game, Bidco came from a goal down to draw 1-1 against visiting Entebbe Young FC at Walukuba play ground.
Meanwhile, over 100 Boroboro FC fans in Lira on Thursday swarmed in Lira court to hear a case between Boroboro and FUFA.
The fans who were chanting ‘We want justice in Uganda football’, accused FUFA of being biased and tribalistic in running Ugandan football.
Boroboro through Chrispus Ayean Odongo and Company Advocates has dragged FUFA to court for relegating the club from the super division league unlawfully.
They also accused FUFA of lifting Arua Central to Mbale in order to play CRO football club thus jeopardizing their chance to remaining in the league.
