When I arrived, I sat at a table, waiting for him. He came a few minutes later, and headed straight to my table. We exchanged greetings. I told him I had a man with a child.
Was he not disappointed that you were on such a date yet you have a man?
He was not and told me so. It did not stop us from enjoying the date.
So what was your motivation to come for the date?
I was bored at the workplace. I really wanted to go out and have good time. I actually wanted to meet a funny person with whom we would share fun and enjoy.
Did he meet your expectations?
Not so much, but he was a good man. He was interesting although we had little time together.
Why did you have to rush if you were enjoying the date?
I never stay out late and secondly, my brother came to the same place. So I was uncomfortable in his presence.
What next for the two of you?
We can remain good friends for now.

Immediately I entered, I knew she was my date because she had her eyes fixed at the entrance, revealing that she was anxiously waiting for someone. I went straight to the table where she was. After exchanging greetings, I sat down and we started chatting.
What did you talk about?
We talked about relationships, career, jobs and interests. She said she was a hair dresser. It was evident from her nice hair do.
What did you like about her?
She was very frank with me in whatever we discussed. For example, she told me she had a man and that they even had a child.
Is that what you expected from a date like her?
Of course I had thought she was single, but it does not hurt, we enjoyed the date and we can remain good friends. Our only problem was that she rushed to go back home.
Have you heard from her since?
I called her that evening and she said she was still in town. But I have not heard from her since.
