Heart patient seeks sh40m

A 30-year-old woman suffering from heart complications is seeking $18,000 (about sh40m) to undergo an operation in India. The money will cover medical bills, travel expenses and subsistence for the patient and accompanying nurse.

A 30-year-old woman suffering from heart complications is seeking $18,000 (about sh40m) to undergo an operation in India.

The money will cover medical bills, travel expenses and subsistence for the patient and accompanying nurse.

Medical letters from the Uganda Heart Institute show that Eunice Micungwa, a mother of one and a resident of Kampala, has Marfan’s syndrome, complicated with aortic dissection.

The letters recommended an urgent corrective heart and vascular surgery in Fortis Hospital in Bangalore, India.

Financial assistance can be extended to Uganda Heart Institute (Ms MICUNGWA EUNICE) and deposited on Account No. 0140005985901, Stanbic Bank, Wandegeya Branch.
