UPDF women handball team walloped Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) 36-7 to cement their authority on the inter-forces games at Namboole yesterday.

Skipper Sofia Nayibugo opened the floodgates for the army team just after three minutes en route to sharing a brace with Molley Ezaru as UPDF dominated the wildlife side in the second half.

The victory puts UPDF closer to retaining the title at the annual event that ends tomorrow. Prisons also beat Police 29-19 in the same event.

In soccer, Police clawed back into the race Tuesday with a 1-0 win over UWA.

Juma Lubega scored the lone goal that handed the cops victory.

Prisons and UPDF finished level in the volleyball that ended yesterday. The two sides won all their three games to raise nine points each.

Today Police takes on UPDF and Prisons engages UWA in soccer, as darts, handball and netball also take course.
