UGANDA Super League table leaders KCC FC will be out to extend their lead when they take on northern outfit Gulu United at Nakivubo as action resumes after a two-week break.
Coach Matia Lule’s side, who have had a perfect start, are yet to drop a point having garnered 15 points from five outings.
But despite playing a game less, they are a point ahead of Proline, with seven outings so far.
And tomorrow, theLugogo outfit will get the opportunity to widen the gap when they host bottom of the table Gulu United, who have two points from their six outings.
Lule, who has always emphasised team work, will want to keep a clean sheet.
And skipper Richard Malinga, who has commanded the defence of Israel Emuge, Edirisa Kateregga and Mpima Ssaka to conceding a mere two goals in the league so far, will be out to see that they do not let in any.
But the onus will be more on the striking trio of Caesar Sapeo, Brian Majwega and Bruno Olobo, who have not disappointed so far in delivering goals.
Simba take on Police in the clash of the armed forces at Bombo, while SC Villa hosts Maroons at Namboole on the training pitch.
The matches involving Express FC have been put off as the Red Eagles are travelling to Vietnam for the BTV soccer tournament.
“Express’ trip was sanctioned so we have to shelve their matches until they return,†explained Mujib Kasule earlier.
The Uganda Super League Limited also put off matches involving Bunamwaya and URA because their quota of players on the national team playing in a friendly against Saudi Arabia in Abu Dhabi tomorrow is enough to have their league engagements postponed.
