I visited a friend in Entebbe Police barracks recently and spent a night there. In the wee hours of the night I heard some drunken officer in London quarters shouting his head off. We could not sleep! IGP, take action.

I wish to comment on the Police officers who have just been promoted. In the past, promotions came after officers had undegone training. This time it seems everybody qualified for promotion. Why?

There has been an advert about Radiant hair dye on TV for some time. With Uganda fighting to reduce the HIV prevalence rate among the married and cross- generational sex, such an advert is sincerely uncalled for.

How can we talk of free secondary education when most pupils who complete P7 cannot write a simple letter in English? Teachers will only teach for money as the students will be too half-baked! Nobody will benefit.
