THE New York-based Foreign Policy magazine has selected this year’s top 100 super global thinkers, whose knowledge and works have contributed to the betterment of society.
Notable among the brainy thinkers was Rosa Whitaker, president of the Whitaker Group, who was lauded for her contributions to transforming the global perception of Africa from a cause for charity to one of promising opportunity for economic investment.
She was an architect of the African Growth and Opportunity Act which has increased African exports to the US by 300%.
