JINJA – One person died on the spot while three others sustained serious injuries when a speeding pick-up truck rammed into a motorcycle at Buwolelo, on Jinja-Kamuli highway on Tuesday.

JINJA – One person died on the spot while three others sustained serious injuries when a speeding pick-up truck rammed into a motorcycle at Buwolelo, on Jinja-Kamuli highway on Tuesday. Jinja district traffic officer, Daniel Zeba, said, Barbra Tugoloze, 27, died was knocked dead by the truck.

Man fined
JINJA – Court recently sentenced a bodaboda cyclist who stole a mobile phone from a priest to a fine of sh250,000 or six months in jail. Jinja magistrate Agnes Nkonge said she was convinced by the evidence adduced that Afan Kimbugwe stole.
