THE absence of Benjamin Ochan had an adverse effect but did not deny Central Yellow from winning two of their three matches at the Shell (Uganda) sponsored U-16 champions league.

The national U-14 skipper was denied a chance because organisers doubted his age. They asked him to produce his birth certificate before the next games are played this weekend.

But the Tivoli and Gothia Cup top scorer Daniel Sserunkuma stood up to be counted. He scored the lone goal as his team Central Yellow stayed on course for the quarterfinals.
