THE wife to Reform Agenda supporter, Rtd. Lt. Dan Mugarura, who has gone missing, has asked court to order the Police, CMI and ISO chiefs, Maj. Gen Katumba Wamala, Col Noble Mayombo and Brig. Henry Tumukunde, respectively to produce him, reports Jude Etyang.
In an application to the High Court, Florence Mugarura, alleged that either Katumba, Mayombo or Tumukunde is holding her husband and that they should be ordered to produce him to court and explain the detention.
In her sworn evidence (affidavit) to court, Mugarura said her husband was arrested from their home in Kisaasi on January 8 by plain clothes security personnel and Police men claiming they were taking him to Central Police Station (CPS) in Kampala.
Mrs. Mugarura also said that when she went to CPS the day after the arrest, she was told that her husband had been transfered to the CMI headquarters at Kitante.
She alleged that at the CMI headquarters she was denied access to her husband.
She also said her husband is suffering from high blood pressure and that before his arrest and detention he was on constant medication.
