KAMPALA — Janet Museveni, wife of the President, yesterday received a renowned American preacher and evangelist, Joyce Meyer, at the International Conference Centre. Mrs. Meyer and her team arrived yesterday and will preach and worship at Nakivubo stadium on Sunday.

Sebuhinja told to quit
KAMPALA — Seven Muhabura Diocese clergy have told bishop-elect David Sebuhinja to step down. They hailed the House of Bishops’ decision to postpone his enthronement. The Rev. Emmanuel Mfitumukiza spoke on behalf of the seven at Namirembe.

Taxi parks now secure
KAMPALA — City taxi parks security has been strengthened by the acquisition of hand metal detectors. UTODA vice-chairman Chris Sengooba has said they bought 40 detectors.
