KABALE district has installed rainwater harvesting tanks in schools to promote hygiene and safety of pupils under the Universal Primary education (UPE) programme.
A district councillor Sam Ndaaba, said each of the 12 schools in Kamuganguzi sub-county had installed a giant 10,000 litre plastic tank to store water for pupils.
Ndaaba said this during a tour of UPE projects in Katenga parish where a four-classroom block was under construction. Ends
