KAMPALA – The Government has deferred the re-opening of new diplomatic missions until the new financial year.

The state minister for international cooperation, Maj. Tom Butime, said on Thursday that posting of ambassadors to embassies already in place would proceed as planned because there were funds for them. Embassies affected are Berlin in Germany, Kinshasa in the DR Congo, Paris in France, Moscow in Russia, and Tehran in Iran.
