STEPHEN Semanda, already assured of a cash prize, wants to go a step better when the Champion of Champions pool tournament resumes this weekend.

STEPHEN Semanda, already assured of a cash prize, wants to go a step better when the Champion of Champions pool tournament resumes this weekend.

Semanda, a semi finalist, will set in motion action at this stage at Yakobo Joint in Ntinda.

The on-form player could get a sh30,000 prize for the fourth overall player.

But more victory could fetch him either sh70,000 for third place finish, sh 150,000 for the runner up or the sh300,000 winner’s award.

Semanda’s opponent will be known after two games due tomorrow. The semi finalist beat Kim Kirunga 5-3 to advance.

Moses Mukasa faces Jonah Turigye for the challenge against Adam Sebbi. The winner will then meet Semanda.

The competition that started early this month, drew winners and top players of last year’s activities.

Action will start at 7.00pm and run until Sunday.
