By John Eremu MT. St. Mary’s Girls’ Secondary School, Namagunga, one of the most competitive schools in the country, has this year relaxed its Senior One entry points from from five to six. The headmistress, Sr. Paul Justine, however, told The New Vision that only two candidates with aggregate six were among the 133 admitted. Kibuli Secondary School also lowered its cut-off points for boys from five to six but maintained those for girls at seven. St. Mary’s College Kisubi remained the most competitive boys’ school admitting only those with aggregate four and five while King’s College Budo stopped at five for boys and six for girls. Namilyango College, Gayaza High and Nabisunsa stopped at six. Ntare and Iganga Girls at seven while St. Kalemba also ended at seven for boys and eight for girls. Bweranyangi, Mengo and Lubiri stopped at eight. Ends
