PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni should be given a third term of office in appreciation of his recognition and promotion of people with disabilities (PWDs).
This was a resolution made recently by representatives of PWDs from mid-western Uganda at the end of a regional workshop on “Policy Framework on the Disability movement in Uganda.â€
The workshop, held at Verina gardens in Kasese and organised by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, attracted 40 PWD representatives from Bundibugyo, Kabarole, Kamwenge, Kasese, Kyenjojo, Hoima, Kibale and Masindi districts. The PWDs hailed the Movement government for its efforts to fight against segregation. Ends
