KCC embarks
KAMPALA – KCC has embarked on a process to acquire titles for its land to stop enchroachments, the public relations officer, Simon Muhumuza said. “For so many years, we have not had titles for our land and this is because KCC has been operating on statutory lease, under which we were issued with one general title for all our land for 199 years. With the enactment of the Land Act, the statutory lease became outdated and our land was left without titles,” Muhumuza said.
