Your circle of celebrities is such recycled monotony!

SIR— I have one concern to raise with The New Vision. I must say it seems the tendency of the boring monotony of some particular celebrities in the country continuously appearing in every issue of your entertainment sections the size of your horizon.

One could easily think that it seems The New Vision is yet to venture into hunting for fresh celebrities to write about. It has been always the same Mr. X and Miss or Mrs. S repeatedly gossiped about.
It looks like a neo-elitist attack on the minds of some readers. But instead some of us will start assuming that there is a scarcity of celebrities to gossip about in Uganda.
That is why The New Vision continues with regular monotonous repetition recycles the same particular individuals, something which is truly boring.
Please give us gossip about other celebrities. Give us more of what the celebrities
upcountry are doing; certainly we wish to read about them.
It looks like all entertainment gossip in Uganda is centred in Kampala alone.
Of course, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of social scandals upcountry as well; and this is what we wish to read about.
