LADY Bucks forward Peninah Kabenge has quit the club after a seven-year stint with the seven times league champions.

LADY Bucks forward Peninah Kabenge has quit the club after a seven-year stint with the seven times league champions.

Kabenge, a Makerere University tutor has joined newly formed Makerere University Sparks.

“Lady Bucks can do without me but I can still help them financially if need arises. I want to support an upcoming team, it is good for the sport,” said Kabenge, who is also Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) general
secretary.

“We will try to challenge Lady Bucks for the title,” Kabenge said.
A-1 Challenge stars Rose Zalwango, Jalia Nasali and Florence Akello have also joined Sparks.
