KIU coach Sylvan Kaboha said that Sadolin Power stars Afidra, Elvis Baguma and Gilbert Kaboha and Nsambya Sharing’s Carlos Olaka and Arnold Mwesigwa have all signed for them.

KFF shakeup
NAIROBI - Kenya Football Federation (KFF) secretary said Sunday he would quit if a decision by sports minister Najib Balala to disband two national teams was not reversed. Balala disbanded the national team and the under-17 team Friday, after the youth team fielded over-age players in African Youth qualifiers.

Bursaries
Standard HS Zana director Justus Mugisha has awarded 19 bursaries to student footballers. Mugisha’s invitation of student footballers last December to register with school coach David Kaziba attracted over 40 boys fighting for the 19 bursaries. ‘The 19 student football players were selected on merit and will have free studies,” said Mugisha.

KISHA Jalendo is tipped to become the new KCC FC skipper when players elect their leader at Lugogo training ground on Tuesday. Jalendo while acting as captain led KCC to a sweet 1-0 win over stubborn Buikwe on Thursday. He will be replacing injury hit Lawrence Kizito. Ends
