President Yoweri Museveni on Friday handed over a ‘bajjagi’ motorcycle to Mwesigwa of Rwentanga, Kashari in Mbarara.

President Yoweri Museveni on Friday handed over a ‘bajjagi’ motorcycle to Mwesigwa of Rwentanga, Kashari in Mbarara.
Museveni picked Mwesigwa’s raffle ticket from a huge basket in a draw organised by the Ankole diocese, Mbarara.
Mwesigwa bought the ticket at sh1,000.
His new green boda-boda had a number plate, third party and a road license.
The diocesan bishop, Rt. Rev. Elisha Kyamugambi, said the church organised the raffle to raise funds for completing a sh502m theatre at Ruharo.
Museveni was officiating at the fund-rising drive to complete the theatre at the diocese. Over sh50m was realised in cash and pledges.
Kyamugambi said the church had planted 30,000 tress in eight archdeaconries. Ends
