Let’s help the Kazibwes, please!

SIR— I wish to add my voice to those who are not happy with the strained marriage of our vice president Specioza Wandira Kazibwe and her husband Charles.

SIR— I wish to add my voice to those who are not happy with the strained marriage of our vice president Specioza Wandira Kazibwe and her husband Charles.
It is unfortunate that very important people who are expected to be an example
to the young generation are now the centre of controversy in the media.
I feel Dr Kazibwe is taking the wrong direction.
It sounds a betrayal of the trust put in her. What will happen to their children in the years to come?
For the sake of their children, I would rather that at least she endures the suffering.
We in the Catholic Church hold the Vice-President in high esteem. That’s why the other year she led a delegation of pilgrims to the Vatican and was given VIP treatment and met the Pope.
I call on all good-hearted Ugandans including the President, Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala, the Anglican Archbishop Livingstone Nkoyoyo, Pastor Skinner of Kampala Pentecostal Church, Ethics and Integrity Minister Miria Matembe and the Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Mubajje, to pray for the Kazibwe family and make other efforts to see them re-united.
