By Ricks Kayizzi SN Brussels Airlines has given out 6 free air tickets in its recently held promotion. The promotion, dubbed ‘Free tickets Bonanza,’ was held in commemoration of the 1st anniversary celebrations, since the airlines started operations after its mother company Sabena Airlines, collapsed. Roger Wamara, SN Brussels area sales manager said this week, they spent about US$14,000 (about sh25m) on the whole promotion. “After one year of doing brisk business in Uganda, we want to assure our clients that we are here to stay, and that is also reflected in the kind of investment we have made in this country,†he said. Wamara said that they currently have three flights a week into Entebbe, and would consider increasing them during the Easter season, which is a high travel season. The promotion, which run on Radio One for two weeks, and entailed listeners to fly to a destination of choice, was also geared at increasing the group’s visibility. Ends
