Minister advises MPs

KAMPALA — The Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Felix Okot, has appealed to political leaders to give the press space to execute its role without fear or favour. “You must be responsible for the statements you make,” he said. He was on Friday closing a workshop for Uganda Parliamentary Press Association organised with the Thomson Foundation of Cardiff and the European Parliamentarians for Africa, at Hotel Africana.
