SIR— This is to commend you for your editorial in The New Vision of February 20.
SIR— This is to commend you for your editorial in The New Vision of February 20. The views in it were in respect of Ms Winnie Byanyima’s statements that Uganda was training Interahamwe guerrillas to fight the Rwandan government.
With due respect to Banyima, her utterances were not only irresponsible and unfortunate. She did not distinguish between what is true and what is relevant.
We don’t want to be sacrificed under her irresponsible
statements.
