COACH Leo Adraa will not subside to the incessant intolerable attitude of Express striker Andrew Mukasa.

The Red Eagles tactician said Express was ‘winning well’ without the former SC Villa marksman and would continue that way without his services.

Mukasa who last played for Express in the group stages of the CECAFA Cup has not figured in any club’s starting line up.

But he participated in training prior to the Masaka game before he vanished.

“The other time he came and trained with everyone before the match against Masaka. After that, he disappeared and hasn’t come back. However, I have so many strikers and the team is winning,” said Adraa.

Adraa is the latest tactician to be troubled by the problematic but talented forward.

Former Cranes coach Harrison Okagbue, Paul Hasule and Jimmy Muguwa have all been incensed by the Mukasa’s volatile behaviour.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Muguwa, formally an assistant to sacked Abdul Kadir will deputise Adraa.

Muguwa worked on the Express bench until an accident left him bed ridden towards the end of last season.

“There is no big change on our technical team. Muguwa is back and he will be working under Adraa. His results can be shown by the matches played,” said club chairman Godfrey Kirumira.

Kirumira also confirmed that Adraa’s indifferent results will not question his position as coach.

  • Star striker Hassan Mubiru reported for training with the national squad gearing up for next month’s away clash to Rwanda.

“He reported for training. All the players expected to be in camp trained and we are getting on well,” said Cranes team manager Sam Kabugo.

Cranes play Rwanda on March 29.
