MASINDI — The LC5 chairman John Majara has reshuffled his executive committee demoting his vice chairperson Saverio Okeny to secretary of finance, planning and administration and replacing him with Solomon Kahwa formerly secretary for health. Councillor Mary Mujumura was appointed secretary for production.

BUSHENYI — The LC5 chief, Longino Ndyanabo, has advised residents of the area against joining rebels. He recently said he had information that some people connected to rebels were persuading civilians to join them. “Please make sure that you avoid the rebels who are persuading you to join them,†Longino advised.
