I Will Take On KCC Over Parking Fees

SIR — The kampala City Council gurus should put their house in order. Why did they set Multiplex onto motorists’ necks when their contract with Greenboat entertainment had not yet run its course? If the contract had expired why did they not evoke the law to eject Greenboat? Many people were issued with greenboat stickers for the whole month of March. Now, Multiplex also wants parking fees for the second half of the same month! What is KCC’s explanation or excuse, this time? I don’t want to see any Multiplex scout near my car. I am fully paid up to the end of the month. Let them simply jot down the number plate of my car from a distance and go and complain to KCC. I have the means and the time to take on either KCC or both. Perhaps KCC could not force Greenboat off the streets because they were busy discussing how to erect mayors’
statues in the city. Why should the citizens suffer because of KCC’s ineptitude?
