‘Uganda won’t betray refugees’

UGANDA will not send away any refugee or hand them over to their countries of origin unless their safety is guaranteed, reports Fortunate Ahimbisibwe.

Regional cooperation minister Col. Kahinda Otafiire said Rwanda’s allegations that Uganda was harbouring ‘criminals under the guise of refugees’ were unfounded.
He was speaking at the Pan-African Club weekly debate at their Kamwokya offices on Saturday.
