Crane ATMs
KAMPALA – Crane Bank Limited, with its growing network of cash machines yesterday launched its 20th Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Caltex Ntinda in Kampala. Crane Bank managing director, Robert Warlow, said the new partnership with would provide allow for 24-hour banking service.

Young fish
MUKONO – Four tonnes of immature fish worth sh10m was recently impounded by fisheries security guards in Ntenjeru sub-county, Mukono district. Most of the fish was recovered from Kiziru landing site near Ntenjeru trading centre. Security personnel Chris Lubowa led the day-long operation.

Lugazi gets
LUGAZI – Government has committed sh119m for local development to Lugazi town council, the chief finance officer has said. Moses Mukasa said this in a meeting with Lugazi town councillors at Lugazi hall last week. The town mayor, Saidi Mubarak and the clerk, D. Kaweesa attended.
