The fourth round of the National Rally Championship (NRC) series will have the first leg at Garuga and the second in Mukono and Kayunga. Meanwhile the Clubman Rally Championship (CRC) gets underway on April 19 with the Marshal’s Sprint at Garuga. The sprint organised by Uganda Motor sport Marshals Association is expected to attract both NRC and CRC drivers. Rookie Faisal Tezikuba (Golf GTI) who finished an impressive six and also won group N and CRC top prizes in the MOSAC Garden City Rally last month, is expected to torment his CRC rivals in the sprint. - REELING from a third successive defeat to dominant Charlie Lubega, Moses Lumala has ordered for a new engine from Toyota Team Europe (TTE). “I will also get suspensions and do thorough recceing. I know Charlie is a good driver, when he beats me again I will then accept he is a better driver. But I won’t be shocked in case he defeats me again because I know the man is perfect,†Lumala said. “The problem is our cars (Model 1994 Toyota Celica ST185) are old.†Lumala revealed that he had hoped to surprise Lubega in the MOSAC Garden City Rally last weekend but was let down by mechanical problems and punctures.
