A very distinguished and smartly dressed gentleman was treated with disdain after he bought a packet of Cool Cool Bar.
Aboard a Bukoto taxi, one extremely well-dressed man could not take the heat anymore and decided to refresh himself instantly. A hawker passed by with a couple of Cool Cool Bars in his hand.
To the man, this seemed a quick, inexpensive way to quench his thirst. Without any hesitation, he asked the lady next to the window to move over and called for the boy selling the drinks. He received it, cut off the lid and began to drink it immediately.
The ladies at the back were indignant and started muttering about his being miserly.
They said a man of his calibre should have waited until he could buy proper, fully-fledged refreshment from a shop or restaurant.
