SIR— I wish to make some clarification on one of the stories which appeared in The New Vision of Saturday, in the gossip column, “Have you heardâ€, saying Wamala arrested Kategaya’s driver.
SIR— I wish to make some clarification on one of the stories which appeared in The New Vision of Saturday, in the gossip column, “Have you heardâ€, saying Wamala arrested Kategaya’s driver.
The article stated that the police driver to First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr Eriya Kategaya, was arrested doing naughty things.
I wish to state that first and foremost, Constable Nyeko is the driver to Hon. Eriya Kategaya and he drives a Toyota Land Cruiser silver grey in colour.
Secondly, Hon Kategaya reported at Kyankwanzi on March 25 and yet that incident happened on March 25. The driver who misbehaved is attached to Hon Edward Rugumayo’s office in the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry.
Necessary action has been taken and the driver who misbehaved will be dealt with as per the law.
