By Vision Reporter A WELL-known Muslim left many people stupefied when he boozed himself silly, an act he later attributed to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s ‘betrayal’ of his loyal supporters. The incident happened at Kiwatule Resort Beach on Palm Sunday. Zubairi, a well-known phone dealer in town, kept pacing about while drinking beer and shouting in Luganda, “I am a Muslim, but when you see me here drinking, it is not for nothing. It is because of Saddam, who betrayed us, his loyal supporters. Some of us had to resort to booze to wash off our misery.†Zubairi said Saddam Hussein promised to crush the coalition forces to powder, and he even staked sh100,000 on the coalition forces never stepping in Baghdad. Zubairi, in consolation, offered to buy beer for anyone who would chant the name Saddam. Ends
