ENERGY minister Syda Bbumba has said Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) may cease to exist in Uganda after the movement Government.

She said the movement government attracted the NGOs by providing a conducive environment for their operations.

“The conducive environment may not hold when the movement leaves,” she said.

“The NGOS are here because of the movement Government and probably they will not be there after the movement has left,” Bumba said on Friday.

She was launching a dispensary and a classroom block constructed by World Vision in Kasangombe sub-county in Nakaseke County.

Bumba hailed NGOs, saying they have helped in implementing the President’s manifesto.
